This is a well-established, general, family practice. They have a welcoming, friendly atmosphere and work hard to create and maintain a supportive, team-centric culture. The position includes daily schedule review, review of patient health and dental history forms with updates as necessary. Taking (digital) x-rays, performing prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance and scaling and root planning. Delivery of nitrous and local anesthetic. Dental and periodontal charting. Application of fluoride and providing home care instructions and demonstrations. Recall scheduling for your patients, daily completion of chart notes for each patient and sterilization of instruments along with other clinical team members. Standard appointments are 1 hour and 1 hour is allotted per quad for SRP, hygienists do, however, have the freedom to do more if they think it is possible or request additional time if the patient requires. Software is EagleSoft and Dexis Imaging. The longest tenure employee is at 34 years.
