Practice is seeking a patient focused hygienist. Traditional, accelerated & restorative hygiene is available depending on the willingness of a hygienist. The ideal RDH will have good communication skills, educating the patient, periodontal probing updated annually, BP N20, managing sedation for Perio SRP, able to give anesthesia, works well with dental assistants, thorough chart notes and quality X-rays. Recare appointments are on the hour. SRP appointments (2 quads) are 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the patient’s needs.
Private practice is very detail oriented and communicates well with each other. DDS orders top of the line equipment for patients and staff. Staff likes to have fun with patients, as appropriate. For RDH’s they have a computerized program for periodontal charting. All room are plumbed for N20 with a scavenger system. Software used is Dentrix, XDR for X-rays and Pano /CT. Staff makeup is 1 DDS, 1-2 RDH’s, 3 DA”s and 2 FO.
