Job duties include traditional hygiene, help with sterilization and stocking hygiene rooms when needed, scheduling next recall visit. Office gives 60 minutes for recare, 2 hours for SRPs.

Office has 3 total employees. Close knit staff. Open dental software is used and VixWin. The staff is focused on good relationships and providing high quality care. This office sees one patient at a time and spends time educating patients to help them make the best healthcare decisions.

The position is available due to current full-time hygienist recently had a baby and wanting to stay home with their child.

This practice is looking for an enthusiastic team player with at least two years’ experience (preferred but not required) and someone that is familiar with the Oryx dental software. The ideal candidate must possess impeccable customer service and people skills. The staff puts a strong emphasis on our team’s culture and have a long-term staff that is committed to providing the best for our patients and each other. This is a beautiful state-of-the-art facility and a great staff to match. They are currently open Monday through Thursday. They allow 90-120 minutes for recare and SRP appointments are 1 hour per quad. Currently there are 21 employees with the longest tenure at 23 years.

Position is available due to the current RDH staying home with the new baby.

Job duties include taking exceptional care of our patients’ hygiene needs. Office schedules one hour for recare and one hour per quadrant of NSPT. Hygienists do utilize the ITero for wellness scans, x-rays are done using Dexis. They have voice activated perio charting. Assistants do their best to help with breakdown and set up of rooms. The assistants also take care of all sterilization. Office manager will schedule all appointments. Office will try to give as much support as possible, so hygienists have the necessary time to devote to patient care and education.

Office uses open Dental, Dexis, ITero Digital scanner. Office has 2 DDS, 3 DA’s, 1 full time hygienist, 1 part time hygienist and 1 front office manager.  The longest tenured employee is at 14 years.

Seeking an RDH with a strong work ethic and communication skills, dependability, as well as the ability to perform excellent patient care are essential qualities in our office. The hours and days for this position are flexible, as the office is primarily interested in finding the right person to join their team and find an RDH a long-term dental home. The position offers competitive benefits and salary with today’s market, which are negotiable, depending on experience. All capabilities of a traditional dental hygienist will be utilized to the full extent of what Washington State Law permits. Office utilizes restorative hygiene in office extensively and while that opportunity is available, it is not required for this position.

Office has modern technology, including Dentrix practice management software, Dexis radiographs and intraoral imaging, with the use of the Planmeca Emerald S intraoral scanner. Staff is made up of 1 dentist, 3 RDH’s, (2 traditional and 1 restorative), 2 DA’s and 3 front office team members.

Practice is seeking to add another RDH due to practice growth and an increased need for hygiene hours.
