Ideally seeking an experienced dental assistant that is comfortable in a leadership position and able to direct the flow of the schedule. Job duties include operatory set up, with all necessary instruments and materials. Welcome & seat patients; update and review health history, medications, and prior chart notes, prepare patient for procedures. Verify and ensure diagnostic x-rays are captured. Assist the doctor chairside for all procedures. Must be very capable of making quality temporary crowns & impressions for nightguards and retainers. Accurately prepare impressions to be sent to the lab. Thoroughly sterilize operatories and prepare instruments for sterilization after each appointment. Maintain inventory and place orders as necessary.
Software used is Dentrix Ascend / Dexis Digital X-rays. Current number of employees is 4 with the longest tenured employee at 8 years
